Smart Notebook Update

The clever SmartBoard people from Canada have added a new feature for Smart Notebook, the Lesson Activity Toolkit It allows for teacher (and student) creation of lessons and activities in a really easy and straight forward manner. Who out there will give this a try?

Those SmartBoard people are so... well, smart! I just downloaded this toolkit and it looks really cool, but I was totally overwhelmed by the sheer volume of it all. I will delve into it soon.

Thanks for letting us know about the new toolkit. I have been using some of the included Smartboard interactive content, such as the clips on the respiratory and circulatory systems. As Jeff said, it will be an ambitious undertaking to develop original content, but I reckon that's why were here!

I've taken a look at this, and I will definitely be creating some lessons this way. I create nearly 100% of my math lessons for 12 elementary classes strictly on SMARTNotebook. Instead of starting each from scratch, this will allow us a bit more structure and head-start. By the way, I have recorded a few lessons I've done using the SMARTBoard with the SMARTRecorder, which will be posted soon. A quick note on that - the SMARTRecorder will not record videos from UnitedStreaming, but anything else being done on the desktop, in a program, or on the SMARTBoard. I also have many elementary math lessons we have done this year that will be posted soon (a bit behind, I apologize). This toolkit will be a great asset to us SMARTAddicts.
